Experience: The successful candidate will possess proficient mathematical, communicative and writing skills; Above average computer skills specifically utilizing Word and Excel;
Strong analytical skills; A high degree of confidentially and attention to detail; Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team; Comprehensive knowledge of applicable banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, CRA, OFAC; Visual and auditory skills; Valid driver's license.
A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field is preferred, with a minimum of five (5) years related experience specializing in compliance training.

| | Consumer Loan Underwriter #031-10 | Consumer Loan Underwriter #031-10 | Description: Located at the Chambersburg Operations Center the Consumer Loan Underwriter will have responsibility for overseeing the underwriting and processing of the consumer lending program. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to managing the underwriting software system, lending parameters, and general ledger accounting and collection activities; ensuring the timely and accurate completion of loan presentations; Reviewing loan applications for compliance to Bank’s loan policy and banking regulations; Verifying employment status and income levels against information provided from the borrower; Reading and analyzing Credit Reports; Approving loans within lending guidelines; and Interacting with Loan Officers regarding Loan Files.
Skills/Education/Experience: The viable candidate will possess the ability to determine creditworthiness through evaluation of financial data; Strong working knowledge of loan documentation, appraisals, contract, procedure manuals and government banking regulations; Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills; Moderate interpersonal relations and communications skills; and Proficient PC skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
College Degree with a major in Business, Finance, or Accounting; Advanced banking training through organizations such as RMA, AID, PBA, ABA, etc. with one (1) to three (3) years experience in Consumer/Mortgage Lending and/or Credit Analysis with Credit Authority, and a working knowledge of Credit Department practices and procedures.

| | Business Banking Officer #034-10 | Business Banking Officer #034-10 | Description: Located at the Eastern Boulevard – Hagerstown, MD branch office, the Business Banking Officer will be responsible for the Commercial Services needs of the business customers. The successful candidate will have responsibilities for, but are not limited to; Soliciting new business from current and prospective customers; Maintaining business relationships with current customers to ensure all banking needs are met; Provide direct service to commercial customers with respect to deposit, loan, electronic business banking, merchant services, and other miscellaneous products and services; Approve or disapprove loan applications within individual lending authority; Serve as a member of the Bank’s sales team; Establish quantitative sales objectives; Prepare and maintain accurate records of all customer service calls made and meetings held with current and prospective customers; Make referrals to the Deposit Officer of Institutional and Governmental clients for deposits; Refer residential mortgages and consumer loans; and Participate in regional activities including Chamber functions, builders show and be active in at least two civic organizations.

| | Consumer Loan Underwriting Processor #039-10 | Consumer Loan Underwriting Processor #039-10 | Description: Located at the Operations Center in Chambersburg, PA the Consumer Loan Underwriting Processor will be responsible for performing a variety of duties that support the consumer lending function such as; Ordering flood determinations, title work, AVM/appraisals, payoff statements and any other required documentation for the loan request; Reviewing files on a daily basis and working closely with Appraisal, Flood and Title Vendors, as well as internal customers to ensure accurate and timely receipt and completion of underwriting loan applications; Collect information stipulated by the Consumer Loan Underwriter; Review for correct legal description of the property, title vesting and any liens/and or restrictions on the property and identifies items that may impair the Bank’s lien position or ability to record its position; Review underwriting conditions for a complete package and ensures all conditions of approval are met prior to providing the close notification; Interacts and partners with internal customers to confirm that contingencies have been successfully completed as stated in the approval conditions; Dispense loan information within prescribed policy, i.e., orders mortgage settlement sheets, pay-offs on small loans, taxes and recording fees, judgment coordination; Prepare a variety of letters and forms; Maintain registers for new loans, commitments, and denials; Review home equity documentation packages to ensure compliance; Fund home equity loans and disburses payoffs at the conclusion of the three day rescission period; Assists Consumer Loan Underwriter with credit analysis and consumer loan underwriting functions on an as needed basis.
Skills/Education/Experience: The viable candidate will possess Strong working knowledge of loan documentation, appraisals, contracts, procedure manuals, and government/banking regulations; proficient reading, writing, grammar and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient PC skills; visual and auditory skills.
A minimum of one to two (1 – 2) years' experience in related loan processing positions desired. A high school diploma or equivalent; specialized loan processing training. A college degree with a major in Finance, Accounting or Business is preferred, but not required.
